The Question of ‘Once Saved Forever Saved’ Part 3: What does grace look like in the context of scripture?

Does grace overlook it when we sin? No, it doesn’t. The Scripture says;

“…Whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.” Matthew 5:22 NKJV

And again, in James it says;

“Whoever keeps the whole Law but stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it”. James 2:10 Berean Study Bible (More on these verses in my next post, because I know how these verses are easily labeled ‘Old Testament in nature’).

With that said, we need to understand the position of grace in relation to sin, so, let’s look at a profound verse in Romans:

COMMUNICATION 102: A Lesson in Listening

I read the conversation between an atheist and a renowned Christian who is also an intellectual and I realized how much knowledge we have attained as a church and how much such height of knowledge might be costing us.

In the conversation, the atheist asked some questions and the Christian intellectual gave responses that I cannot help but say fell short of the right answers. It appeared to me that the great Christian intellectual just wanted to ‘fix’ the error of this atheist so much so that he lost him in the process.

Lesson one: People don’t want to be fixed, they want to be heard. They might NEED fixing, but it’s next to impossible to meet a ‘need’ that is veiled with a ‘want’ without first meeting that ‘want’.

Criteria For The Last Move Of God In His Church

In our last post we spoke on the significance of the Man Child, today, what I want to do is show us what we need to do to transit from ‘The Woman’ (of Revelation Chapter 12) to the Man Child. To do this I have to expound on the significance of the attire of the Woman – the ‘sun, moon and 12 stars’.

Clothed with the Sun.
Like we said before, the Sun is the glory of the Father, each time the Woman surfaced on the earth, she was clothed with the glory of the Father. In Israel before Moses was born, it was the Blessings of Jacob upon his twelve sons, in Mary, it was the Power of the Holy Spirit that overshadowed her. Therefore, it is of uttermost importance that this generation be clothed with the glory of the Father if we must take the leap from being the Woman to being the Man Child.

PURPOSE – The Choice is Yours

“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space lies our freedom to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and freedom.”
~Viktor Frankl~

A popular question people ask me when I talk about purpose is, Pharaoh! I’m often asked what choice Pharaoh had since it was God who hardened his heart against God. And that is a very important question, because there are a lot of people out there today who believe God made Pharaoh that way and therefore could make them follow a particular path that they do not want to follow.

“How does this apply to the every day person? After all, I’m not Pharaoh.”

Good point! This is how it affects all of us. If God could harden a man to do things against the man’s will, even damnable things, what stops God from doing the same to you and I? Do you see where I’m going? What if you’re the next Hitler or the next Abacha? How could you stop it and change course?

People are already asking these sorts of questions.

“What if I was destined to be poor and can do nothing about it, just like my father and his father before him?”

In the same vein, some are asking, “What if I was made a homosexual by God and fighting it is just fighting His will?”
