The Pagemaster Symposium

The Dynamism Of Change
a back to the basics series

Date: Saturday, 13th October 2018
Time: 1pm prompt.
Venue: Excellence Hotel, Aguda-Ogba, Lagos.
(Description: its the small hall outside just before you enter the reception. Adjacent the banquet hall)

Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
II Corinthians 5:16‭-‬17 NKJV

It’s a basic expectation in the kingdom that who you are before and after you meet Christ are two distinct persons. There must be a change to herald that encounter of yours with the Lord.

If you and your environment can’t testify of undeniable changes in you since you met Christ, then there is a problem of stunted growth.

We trust God for the power to inspire that change in this up coming symposium. Join us as we draw out from God’s word, life changing truths.

Eat the tithe?

Eat the tithe?

The idea that the believer is meant to eat his or her tithe instead if giving it to church is based on a major misconception. In the Old Testament, there were three sorts of tithes to be paid from the people, besides those from the Levites to the priests;

Between the Light and the Lies

“And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.  For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.  But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
John 3:19-21 NKJV

If the evidence the opposition threatens to present frightens you, then you have something sinister to hide.

I am sure you are wondering where I am going with this. Well, here it is. A friend sent me a link to a ‘once saved, forever saved’ post seeking my thoughts on the it.

The Question of ‘Once Saved Forever Saved’ Part 3: What does grace look like in the context of scripture?

Does grace overlook it when we sin? No, it doesn’t. The Scripture says;

“…Whoever says, ‘You fool!’ shall be in danger of hell fire.” Matthew 5:22 NKJV

And again, in James it says;

“Whoever keeps the whole Law but stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it”. James 2:10 Berean Study Bible (More on these verses in my next post, because I know how these verses are easily labeled ‘Old Testament in nature’).

With that said, we need to understand the position of grace in relation to sin, so, let’s look at a profound verse in Romans:

The Question of ‘Once Saved, Forever Saved’ Part 2: Why most people beat about the bush when debating ‘hyper-grace’

In my first post about this doctrine of ‘once saved, forever saved’, I said that many are poorly equipped to fight this error. So, in order for us to be better equipped, I spoke about the fundamentals of their philosophy of ‘grace’, so that we know what we’re up against. In this post, I want to speak about another factor that many lack which makes them ill-equipped to contend for the true gospel of grace – it is the rules of engagement which should govern us in this ‘civil war’ in Christianity.

Signs Of The Times (Part 2): The Sign Of The Man Child

I have said in the last post that I am persuaded that we are living in the times of the Man Child. Today, what I want to do is point us to the signs of the times we live in.

The Book of Revelation tells us that two signs appeared in heaven before the Man Child was born. One of a woman and another of a dragon (Revelation 12:1-3). When a sign is said to be seen in the heavens, it is indicative of a wide spread sign which is evident to all. This doesn’t necessarily mean that the sign is understood by all who see or know of the sign, it simply means that it is visible to all.

The first sign is that of the Woman… Continue reading

Criteria For The Last Move Of God In His Church

In our last post we spoke on the significance of the Man Child, today, what I want to do is show us what we need to do to transit from ‘The Woman’ (of Revelation Chapter 12) to the Man Child. To do this I have to expound on the significance of the attire of the Woman – the ‘sun, moon and 12 stars’.

Clothed with the Sun.
Like we said before, the Sun is the glory of the Father, each time the Woman surfaced on the earth, she was clothed with the glory of the Father. In Israel before Moses was born, it was the Blessings of Jacob upon his twelve sons, in Mary, it was the Power of the Holy Spirit that overshadowed her. Therefore, it is of uttermost importance that this generation be clothed with the glory of the Father if we must take the leap from being the Woman to being the Man Child.
