The Man Child (Part II)

Across the nations of the earth, God’s servants have been shown visions and given prophetic words about a great and powerful move of the Spirit that will transcend anything we have ever seen or heard before. They have all called this movement by different names raging from; the saint movement, to dove movement, and even the last and final reformation of the church. I, on the other hand have decided to call this movement ‘the Man Child’. All of them are correct, however, the Man Child differs in one respect, it captures the Big Picture of this move of God while all others spoken by these prophets reveal only aspects of the Man Child.

This does not, by any means, imply that I have received a greater revelation of this movement or that I have better understanding of it than others who God has revealed this move to. What I am simply saying is that the Man Child is beyond a prophet’s perspective on the coming move of God, it is in fact the perspective of Scripture. And whenever prophets and scriptures stand toe to toe, scripture always trumps the prophets.

So in continuation of our previous post, we are going to look at the two remaining characteristics of the Man Child which we discussed. Remember we said that there are three major characteristics of this move of God, we already pointed out one characteristic –  unprecedented power in the church to work signs and wonders on the earth.

TwoRevelation 12:5 – He is caught up to the throne of God.

I must say here that this catching up to the throne of God has nothing to do with the rapture, just as we don’t need to be raptured to be seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). This catching up to the throne of God is a position of authority in the spirit, just as our seating with Christ in heavenly places is a reference to our position of rest in the spirit. One is for every believer in Christ Jesus, the other is exclusively for the Man Child. The first is a position we obtain by grace, the other we obtain by overcoming as the scripture says;

To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. Revelation 3:21

Interestingly, this promise was given to the seventh Church which is symbolic of the last day Church, the generation in which the Man Child is born. This throne is symbolic of kingdom authority over the entire creation. Those who wield such authority will exercise dominion over the institutions of this world. To be caught up to this throne, as the Man Child, is to exercise influence over the seven mountains – Politics, Economy, Religion, Arts and Entertainment, Education, Media and Family. (If God permits, I will also discuss this in another post). But such authority and influence will only be entrusted to those who overcome.

To identify what we must overcome, we need only look at the Woman of Revelation 12 and the church of Laodicea and see what they had to overcome to obtain the throne. The main obstacles faced by the church of Laodicea was their lukewarm-ness and materialism. To ascend the throne, they had first to overcome those obstacles. As for the Woman, the only deterrent to the birth of the Man Child and his ascension to the throne was the dragon and the persecution he unleashed upon her. Without overcoming the tribulation, her birth pangs would have turned to still-birth and ascension to the throne would have been replaced with descent to the grave.

These therefore are the things we must overcome – lukewarm-ness, materialism, and persecution. We must not give in or bow to compromise, we must overcome if we must become the Man Child and if we must ascend the throne of authority.

And this is how we overcome – by the blood of the Lamb and by the words of our testimony, loving not our lives unto death – Revelation 12:11. Maybe I should dedicate another post to the Overcomers.

ThirdRevelation 12:5 – He is was caught up to God.

This is in fact the first thing about the Man Child, his catching up to the Hand of God. This speaks of a deep relationship with God. We saw this in Moses and in the Lord Jesus but for the sake of time, we can only examine that of Moses. Moses’s intimate relationship with the Lord can be seen in how he frequented the Mountain of God – Exodus 24 – and again in how his personal tent became the tent of meeting where God often descended to speak with him face to face. Their bond was so strong that God called Moses his friend. (See Exodus 33:7-11)

Everyone who truly believes has a relationship with the Lord, but those who mature into the Man Child have a deeper fellowship. The difference between the common believer and those who overcome can be seen in the words of the Psalmist; He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel. Psalms 103:7

Evidently, this great move of the spirit represented by the Man Child will exercise great authority and power over the devil and his forces of darkness just as Moses and the Lord Jesus did. The emergence of the Man Child will be the end of powerless Christianity. It would bring healing to this dying world and prepare us for our Lord’s return.

What we are about to see is unprecedented. It’s time to declare His kingdom with power.

Finally,
To whom much is given, much is expected.
~See Luke 12:48~
